Inner Core ist eine immersive Performance, die die Spannung zwischen unserer digital geprägten Gesellschaft und dem ursprünglichen menschlichen Zustand erforscht. Sie inszeniert eine rituelle Reise zwischen äußerer Reizüberflutung und tiefer Introspektion. Eine kreisförmige Struktur mit ihren zehn Bögen dient nicht nur als räumliches Symbol, sondern auch als philosophische Reflexion über die sich wandelnde Natur von Präsenz, Wahrnehmung und Verbundenheit in einer zunehmend digitalisierten Welt.

Im Zentrum der Performance steht die Frage nach den Grenzen zwischen äußerem Einfluss und innerer Autonomie. Kontrastierende Materialien – rohe, verbrannte Stoffe und glatte, zeitgenössische Oberflächen – symbolisieren die Transformation der menschlichen Existenz, gefangen zwischen ihren Ursprüngen und der technologischen Entwicklung. Die Bewegung im Raum verkörpert diese Dynamik: Die Performer:innen wechseln zwischen Momenten der Isolation und Synchronität und spiegeln so das Paradox von Hypervernetzung und Entfremdung wider.

Der Klang bildet das Herzstück der Erfahrung und behandelt den Raum als lebendigen Organismus. Die Klangkomposition erschafft eine akustische Landschaft, die zwischen Einheit und Fragmentierung oszilliert. Tief resonierende Bässe aus dem Kern lösen instinktive Reaktionen aus. Die auditive Szenerie dient sowohl als struktureller als auch als philosophischer Leitfaden, der Bewegung und Wahrnehmung formt.

Inner Core is an immersive performance that explores the tension between our digitalised society and the primal human condition. It stages a ritual journey between external sensory overload and deep introspection. The circular structure with its ten arcs serves not only as a spatial symbol, but also as a philosophical reflection on the changing nature of presence, perception and connectedness in an increasingly digitalised world.

At the centre of the performance is the question of the boundaries between external influence and internal autonomy. Contrasting materials – raw, burnt fabrics and smooth, contemporary surfaces – symbolise the transformation of human existence, caught between its origins and technological development. The movement in the space epitomises this dynamic: the performers alternate between moments of isolation and synchronicity, reflecting the paradox of hyper-connectivity and alienation.

The sound forms the centrepiece of the experience and treats the space as a living organism. The sound composition creates an acoustic landscape that oscillates between unity and fragmentation. Deeply resonating bass from the core triggers instinctive reactions. The auditory scenery serves as both a structural and philosophical guide that shapes movement and perception.
