Konstruktion Variante 51. 9

Das Projekt Konstruktion Variante 51. 9 untersucht den urbanen Raum aus künstlerischer Perspektive und widmet sich dort zu findenden Objekten und Installationen, die ohne künstlerischen Anspruch entstanden sind, aber einer bestimmten Ästhetik folgen.

Der Fokus liegt dabei auf industriellen Objekten, die sich an Orten befinden, an denen unsere Umgebung aktiv neu- und dekonstruiert wird und eine ansonsten regungslose Architektur dadurch in Bewegung gerät.

Indem derartige Konstruktionen in einen Ausstellungskontext gesetzt werden, wird durch die Rekontextualisierung der Fokus auf die skulpturale Haptik solcher Objekte gelenkt. Die Konstruktion wird zum Monument der stetigen Gentrifizierung. Die Metallstreben werden zu einer Zeichnung in der Landschaft.

The project Konstruktion Variante 51. 9 examines urban space from an artistic perspective and is dedicated to objects and installations found there that have been created without artistic pretence but follow a certain aesthetic.

The focus is on industrial objects that are located in places where our surroundings are actively reconstructed and deconstructed and an otherwise motionless architecture is set in motion as a result.

By placing such constructions in an exhibition context, the recontextualisation draws attention to the sculptural haptics of such objects. The construction becomes a monument to constant gentrification. The metal struts become a drawing in the landscape.
